The UK Games Fund team invite potential applicants of the current funding round to the following Application Writing Workshops:
· Edinburgh, Monday 29th February· London, Tuesday 1st March· Manchester, Wednesday 30th March
These sessions are designed for both existing companies and fresh start-ups with a strong intention to submit an application to the present round. Your involvement in the workshops begins from the moment you complete a registration form; as you are required to undertake a self-evaluation of your project before you can register, which you can also do even if you are not able to attend (although we can only give feedback to those at the workshops).
Once you have completed the form you will be contacted in due course with further details on the venue and timings of the event in which you’ve expressed interest.
At the workshop we’ll give feedback and address some of the queries from your forms in a group session. There will be an opportunity to discuss the best way to try to address weaknesses in your proposals for a formal application. We’ll bring our experience of managing the previous Prototype Fund and describe some generic reasons for unsuccessful applications and give guidance on preparing your pitch video.
We expect that workshops will last around 2 hours, but we may vary the session length depending on take up and Q&A time provision.
