Late Surge in Applications to Tranzfuser

The deadline for applications to UK Games Talent’s new games development iniative closed on Friday 15th April with a huge surge in applications coming in at the final stages.

“The high level of response from those keen to break into the professional games development industry and be in with a chance of pitching for funding from the UK Games Fund clearly indicates the burgeoning level of talent the UK has to offer. We’re delighted to have received so many applications and, given we’re in the first year of Tranzfuser, we’re excited to see how next year’s application numbers will grow.”

Applicants pitched in to Tranzfuser with concept ideas for a game to be developed over the course of the 10 week long competition. Successful participants will go on to develop the concept to playable demo to be showcased at an leading industry event in September. A select group of Tranzfuser teams will be selected to pitch for funding from the UK Games Fund.
