Stand Up is an immersive management simulator where everything is diegetic.
Taking place entirely at the main character’s desk, you guide them as they embark on their journey to becoming a beloved stand-up comedian. However, balancing the little free time you have to chase your dreams, while also managing everyday responsibilities, is not easy.
With limited windows of time and novel in-world minigames, the player must refine jokes, book venues, and perform the gig. Through pressure-inducing negative UX the player will have to navigate personal relationships, fatigue, and inspiration. All of which can have both a positive or negative impact on the quality of their work. After all, nobody said creating your dreams was easy…and the clock’s always ticking.
