Tales from Davidstown is a cinematic FMV game where every decision carries weight and every choice shapes the outcome. Set in the remote village of Davidstown, players step into the role of journalist Jess Wilder as she investigates unsettling changes in her closest friend, Emily Hargreaves – changes that reveal a supernatural affliction and the onset of a werewolf curse.

This is a supernatural adventure that players can explore through interactive live-action scenes, environmental clues, branching conversations, and emotional consequences. Using a combination of point-and-click navigation, puzzle-solving, and decision-making, players influence how deeply Emily descends into her alter ego or how much she’s able to resist it. Mood and relationship meters quietly track tensions and alliances, subtly steering both plot and performance.

The prototype includes a 2D exploration map and early gameplay systems that connect cinematic tension to interactive depth. The game draws from a popular transmedia IP with over 2.8 million YouTube views and 1,022 Patreon supporters. This isn’t just an interactive film; this is an emotionally charged adventure where every player decision counts.
