THE TWIST
Match results are decided based on the opinion of the Crowd.

After launching onto the world stage with the Golden Joystick nominated C-Smash VRS. RapidEyeMovers has started work on an immersive title that will take player interactions and mechanics to a new level.

Using hand gesture recognition in uniquely physical and delightful ways, the Unannounced game will have visceral action and require physical smarts, and offer never-before-seen ways of interacting with a game world and its inhabitants.

Thanks to the UKGF, we are building a prototype with which we will seek further funding and platform partnerships.

We are currently working on an unannounced title in the open-world survival craft genre. While the project is clearly anchored in the survival craft genre, it brings about several innovative mechanics that add a lot of emergence to the gameplay, and encourages creativity and problem-solving.

The project is being developed in Unreal Engine 5, and we
are hoping to announce the title very soon. The title is planned to be released as early access in 2026.

Played simultaneously across connected physical and digital components, and with inspirations including Jumanji, Twin Peaks, Inscryption and Black Mirror, Kiss Chase is a narrative-driven, modern horror game unlike anything experienced before.

Mother Ultimate is a UK-based indie studio specialising in transmedia games combining hardware, electronics and code. Kiss Chase will be the studio’s first original IP, but our back catalog includes Return to Dark Tower (The Dice Tower’s Best Co-op Game & Best Solo Game 2022, BoardGameGeek’s Best Co-Op Game 2022) and Beasts of Balance (IndieCade Technology Award 2015, Toy of the Year awards finalist 2018).
