Wonzie World

Wonzie World (originally called Kissy Kissy) is a funny game about toddlers running around avoiding Kissies. Inspired by Constance’s grandchildren, the gameplay mechanics are based on what real children do – run away and build dens that grownups are too big to get inside.

Wonzie World’s playful storyworld is gender-neutral and non-violent, and aims to subtly deliver a message about children’s autonomy and body boundaries. Its co-operative gameplay counteracts common narratives of competition, and has intergenerational audience appeal. Level one was shared on itch during lockdown to spread a little joy, and the latest version of Wonzie World has a remote playable option which enables dispersed friends and families to play together.
