After a jam packed month, the DunDev 2025 studios are checking out of Scotland’s Sunniest City.
Having made the journey north in wintry weather, the four promising studios each took part in the month long residential programme DunDev with gusto, ensuring each and every opportunity to learn and build new contacts was exploited to the max.
Each week of DunDev was tailored to the needs of the four companies, supporting their trajectory in growing as sustainable and viable businesses beyond DunDev.
External advisers with extensive professional experience in the fields of pitching, investment, entrepreneurship, community management and many other skills came to speak with each studio on a one-to-one basis, sharing their advice and learning from the DunDev participants’ own professional experience.
Kirsty Gibson, Head of Impact at UKGTF and the lead on DunDev, said:
This year’s programme has been a joy to run; from the outset the four studios clearly demonstrated their willingness to engage with the process in a way that makes my job very easy. Our network of external advisers were only too happy to spend their valuable time supporting the DunDev 2025 cohort thanks to their enthusiasm and professionalism.
The studios will leave Dundee having wracked up a huge network of new contacts, as well as having pitched to the UK Games Fund for Prototype Fund grant support. More details about the outcome of those pitches will be shared soon.
