New Prototype Fund projects announced alongside updates from the funded community of indie dev studios.
18 companies from across the UK are working on their UK Games Fund supported games as part of the most recent round of Prototype Fund applications.
With projects ranging from point-and-click adventure PC games third-person to 3D puzzle platformers, the most recent batch of funded projects is innovative and exciting.
The newly funded companies join the ranks of the existing portfolio of indie devs from across the UK at an interesting time. Recent company updates demonstrate the wealth of talent and creativity from our portfolio, and today we have more news to share:
- Wowbagger (Round 10) launched She Could Fly: Documentary Escape Game, a point and click game with looping levels featuring comics, documentaries and gaming to explore OCD and anxiety.
- VR games studio Crooks Peak (Round 9) have announced their funded project By Grit Alone on Meta Quest, available now for pre-order. The action horror shooter combines frantic combat with a harrowing sci-fi anthology story in a savage campaign for survival.
- Retro Drive Studio (Round 10) hit their target in just 24 hours on Kickstarter.
- Also from Round 10, Heir of the Dog from Tall Story Games will feature on Kickstarter imminently.
