Funded companies A Brave Plan and Ant Workshop have just announced their inclusion in the newly launched Apple Arcade with their games, The Bradwell Conspiracy and Dead End Job.
With a subscription to Apple Arcade, users get unlimited access to the entire catalogue of over 100 new, exclusive games, all playable across iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac and Apple TV. To be selected as one of the curated games is a huge achievement for both companies, opening their games up to a global audience.
A Brave Plan were selected for funding in Round 2 of the UK Games Fund back in 2016.
Georg Backer, Game Director at A Brave Plan, said:
“The UK Games Fund was super important for the development of The Bradwell Conspiracy, it allowed us to make the game we wanted to make. The UK Games Fund team have always been excellent in their support.”
Ant Workshop were selected for funding in Round 4 of the UK Games Fund back last year
Tony Gowland, Founder at Ant Workshop, said:
“The support of the UK Games Fund was fantastic for Dead End Job. Not just the funding grant, which we received at just the right time to ramp up production and ensure we could get all of our ghosts and ghouls in there, but also their community network of other developers and industry experts who were a great sounding board for our ideas. I can honestly say it wouldn’t be the same game without the UKGF team (plus they are all lovely).”
About The Bradwell Conspiracy
Made in partnership with Bossa Studios, The Bradwell Conspiracy places the player as an unnamed museum visitor waking up in the aftermath of an explosion at the Bradwell Stonehenge Museum’s Solstice 2026 Gala. To escape the chaos the player must work with Amber, A Bradwell Employee trapped elsewhere in the collapsing building.
Due to an injury, the player’s means of communication is sending pictures to Amber via a pair of Bradwell AR Smart Glasses. However, their escape route is a perilous one and players will soon find themselves in the depths of a hidden underground complex full of secrets. With a Brutalist art style unique to the Bradwell Universe plus original 3D-printing and photography gameplay mechanics used to solve the many puzzles throughout, The Bradwell Conspiracy will offer a truly immersive gameplay experience.
