UK Games Talent, part of the UK Games Talent and Finance Community Interest Company (UKGTF), has today launched its new website.

www.ukgamestalent.com covers the accelerated development programmes aimed at the UK’s games development talent community. This includes Tranzfuser ™, the flagship talent development competition for graduates looking to break into the games development industry.

As with everything UKGTF does, the purpose of UK Games Talent is to support the development of the best of British talent being able to create original IP, gain experience and make their mark in the industry.

Other projects designed to help achieve this aim are explained in detail on the new site. These include the new Community Contributor and Open Badge programmes.

Community Contributors

UKGTF asks all those who benefit from support to be actively engaged in the growing UKGTF community as Community Contributors. The Community Contributor initiative is designed to bring together the pool of UK Games Talent and UK Games Fund contacts with the industry experts we have enlisted as UKGTF contacts.

Open Badges

The UK Games Talent Open Badge Academy project is a transparent accreditation programme for the UK games industry identifying a common standard of achievement by up and coming talented individuals and teams in the UK. Open Badges are awarded to those who have demonstrated skill, performance and ability within the games development industry.

Participants in our talent and funding initiatives will be given access to collect our open badges via our Open Badge Academy, providing us the opportunity to award and recognise their talent in a tangible way.

“The UKGT website offers the UK games development community an open door to connect to our talent initiatives, regardless if they are a rookie games developer or industry veteran. We aim to encourage involvement in this rich community via our Community Contributor roles, celebrating and marking achievement with our Open Badges and showcasing the best graduate talent from across the UK via Tranzfuser.”
