Building is done via a block and plate based system with different resources providing different functionality. Resources can also be refined in to stronger or different materials to advance technology or provide different bonuses to constructed components or armour.

Crew, man and perform tasks on the vehicles and must survive the perils of using radioactive discarded technology as well as being kept fed and watered. Crew are affected by events and various stats or behaviours can be altered by what has happened. Particularly effective crew may become exceptional leaders/engineers/researchers etc.

After Cataclysm will build on the exceptional complexity of our previous game From the Depths and will provide a new experience.

A Life of Consequence

A Life of Consequence is a third-person multiplayer Action RPG game with Role-Based Combat and a unique approach to Multiplayer, allowing both real-time and asynchronous cooperative gameplay.

Open Sky

From the makers of The Colonists, Open Sky is a unique town-building strategy game where the player creates a community upon a travelling, floating island that will attract inhabitants from far and wide. Under the player’s direction the island will travel through the sky, traversing a large and rich world map, encountering vibrant cultures, flying merchants, adventurers, storms and great cities.

Featuring a highly customisable, modular building system, players can craft complex towns of winding staircases, precarious platforms, hanging gardens, parks with ingenious water engineering and more. The narrative is player-driven in a vivid story-world; players might choose to plant gardens of fantastical fruits and flowers, or build star-catching platforms or travel the world collecting rare artefacts and ingredients to tempt idiosyncratic chefs and master craftspeople to join the island from other cities. Each and every islander has their own distinctive personality and individual traits, resulting in a thriving, dynamic environment.

Open Sky epitomises Codebyfire’s ongoing ambition to build beautiful, thoughtful, pastoral strategy games that can be played many times over.

Silver Rain Games

Silver Rain Games is an independent UK games studio working remotely. We are currently developing our unannounced title, focusing on creating narratives to empower players. Our aim is to produce immersive landscapes and in-game assets that can be implemented across other forms of media, with the intention of building a strong IP and attracting new audiences.

We value flexibility and aim to create a safe space for our team to explore and find their role within the game industry of today.

Growbeard

A brand new tower defence game with a twist JGG is known for! Set in the same universe as our hit debut “Starbeard”, the gnomes realised that some bugs are actually not the baddies and are integral to the ecosystem to the worlds they visit. But of course Twizzletash still pursues the money side and tries to wipe out pollinators to pillage and line his pockets.

The game will have a strong environmental education within it but is designed for late teens and up in terms of target audience. There will be post launch opportunities for kids versions, different monetisation systems and platform ports.

We are building on what we have learnt from releasing a polished premium game to build a stronger revenue opportunity with interested investors portfolios in mind. We are working as the same team that delivered Starbeard last winter, and we’re very excited to get back to the garden!
